Dorman - 924281
Sale Price$26.69
Description : When the sun visor on certain Ford and Mercury vehicles won't stay in place or flops around it's usually because the original equipment plastic mount has cracked from wear. Rather than risk the same issue down the road, skip the costly dealer replacement or similar failure-prone, labor-intensive repair solutions. Fix it once and for all with this easy-to-install and cost-effective Dorman OE FIX sun visor repair kit designed to restore the full range of motion to the visor. It features an upgraded mount engineered from rugged aluminum instead of plastic for a longer-lasting repair, and boasts an innovative split and hinged design that installs easily over the existing visor rod. A precisely engineered tensioning bolt included in the kit fits inside the mount's clamping surfaces to allow exactly the right amount of tension to be applied during installation and readjusted later if needed. For a complete and professional repair that looks as great as it works, the kit includes two different faceplates to blend with the most popular interior colors; choose the one that best matches the vehicle's interior and simply snap it into place over the mount.
